in the news today

we killed bin laden. way to go seals, were all proud of you. however, i feel very uninformed and retarded because i knew he was on the lamb, but i didnt realize he was still an active threat or that we were still pursuing him intently. maybe i should watch the news and be more informed but i havent heard any chatter about him until my mom busts in this morning or last night, im not sure there was sleep involved, and tells me we got him. then my phone started to blow up. dont get me wrong im definitely happy and relieved we got him, but i dont think that solves our problem. we shouldnt be rejoicing this much for the death of one man, no matter how evil he may have been. i realize he killed innocent americans, but some of our soldiers are over there killing innocent people too. the "oh, its a kid. hes strapped to a bomb and if hes not hell be one day" method for shooting just doesnt work for me. im glad we got him, go seals six, now how do we end this war and bring our boys home?
